By choosing Fairtrade, investments in health, education and other social projects become possible. At Fairtrade certified nurseries, it is also possible to purchase stems based on Fairtrade Premium. Fairtrade Premium means that an additional premium is paid for each stem sold. With this premium, (chosen) employees of the nurseries can support great projects.

Dutch Flower Foundation
We support the Dutch Flower Foundation (DFF), an initiative of Dutch Flower Group. DFF is a foundation that helps charities at home and abroad with money and other forms of support. These charities are always located in the area where Dutch Flower Group companies are active, which is the immediate vicinity in Aalsmeer and the Westland, but especially the countries where our flowers and plants are grown, such as in Africa and Central America.
Our support is aimed at improving the lives of children in need and the elderly. Themes that the Dutch Flower Foundation focuses on are education (‘give people the possibility to raise their own income’), housing (‘give people a safe place’), health (‘give people mental and physical sanity’) and sports (‘give people a goal in life through sports’).
