At day care ‘Zorgkwekerij Groen’, the participants enthusiastic started a nice job for The Floral Connection; folding luxury covers.

Folding these covers is a laborious job that requires a lot of time and patience which fits in perfectly with the desired activities for the participants. At The Floral Connection we try to regularly provide this kind of meaningful work to the day care, which is a nice contribution for both parties.

About Zorgkwekerij Groen
Zorgkwekerij Groen is located in an old flower and vegetable nursery that has been converted into a modern day care/care nursery. They offer meaningful daytime activities to (young) adults and the elderly, with a psychiatric imbalance, lower starting level and/or incipient memory complaints. Younger (from 23 years) and older people work together at the nursery, each with his/her own possibilities and challenges. The participants can lend a hand at the nursery by raking, sowing pots or watering the garden. They can help prepare lunch, care for the animals, get creative or take a walk around the nursery. The work gives satisfaction and self-confidence and this can increase self-reliance. More than 15 volunteers are active at the care nursery who help with the care for the extra attention, but also in the garden to grow a beautiful product. Over Ons – Zorgkwekerij Groen
